Being a member of a car share means:
- Fewer cars on the road
- Use of a late model, lower emissions car
- Better personal choices about transportation
We are a non-profit co-operative created for people who need access to a car but don’t want the expense and hassle of ownership.
We are looking for anyone over the age of 23, with a clean driving record.
Members invest in the co-op by contributing a share of $500 in cash, or through a pay as you go option. After we confirm that their driving record is clear for the past 3 years, a car can be reserved for an hourly and per kilometre fee. Pay as you go members pay a higher per hour charge, which is credited to their share account, and a small financing charge.
Members are billed monthly for their usage, and the co-op looks after everything else.
